So many people ask me in my classes "How do I colour dark skin?" .... followed by "And what is a good colour combination for a darker skin tone?"

A Bit Of Cheeky Glamour For Anya Ink

Certification in Brisbane

I have resurfaced after a fun filled four days in Brisbane.

The first three days were filled with lots of demos and 3 great classes at the Scrapbook and Paper Craft Expo and Convention! Thank you to all the lovely ladies who sat in on my classes. I look forward to seeing your beautiful creations!


The forth day in Brisbane was filled with Certification.


It was such a pleasure spending the day with Jonny and Kathy (above) and so many other wonderfully talented people. The day sure was a full one! Hopefully everyone walked away from the day having learned many new tips and techniques.

Thanks Kath for all your help and for letting me colour your hair!


It was such a fun day....and from the bottom of my heart I would like to thank all the ladies for a truly wonderful day!

I look forward to the next certification!

It's Friday....And My Bags Are Packed!

I cannot believe today has finally arrived! I have been working and planning and colouring and preparing like crazy... all for this weekend!....and I am super super excited!

My bags are packed and I am flying to Brisbane tomorrow morning. I am working on the X-Press Graph-X stand at the Scrapbook and Papercraft Expo and Convention this weekend!

I am also teaching 3 Colour with Copic Classes at the Expo...all of which are FULLY BOOKED!!!!

I then go on to run the Copic Certification (with the help of Kathy) on Tuesday!!!!

Wow, what a jam packed weekend it is going to be!

I will fill you all in on my exciting weekend when I return on Wednesday!

Buttons & Bows for Anya Ink

This weeks challenge for Anya Ink is to create with buttons and bows! I had so much fun with this challenge that I couldn't stop at just one! The first creation is a card....


Stamp is CC Design Swiss Pixie, coloured with Copics on X-Press It Blending Card.

I couldn't just stop there.....! So I made this beautiful Topiary Tree filled with bows and buttons! Thanks to my gorgeous and super super talented friend, Dawn, who taught me how to make this stunning tree! Dawn's stuff is beautiful....check out her blog for all her magnificent creations!


Again I used CC Designs Stamp on X-Press It Blending Card... and coloured her with my Copics.
