So to all my new Anya Ink DT team friends, as well as new Copic friends from near and far...I offer to you ... a double scoop of friendship....served on an easel card!!!!

For this card I have used these beautiful C.C Design Stamps on X-Press It Blending Card, which I love so so much! I have used my Copics to colour the images:

These are the colours I used:

I have put together the Easel Card using a paper set called Pretty in Popsicle, and have built up my images with X-Press It Foam Tape. (See Close-Up Below)

So to all new friends...I hope you have enjoyed your Ice-Cream. I look forward to sharing many more flavours with you in the future!!!!

HELLO.....to COPIC OZ!!!!!

Hi Everyone, I am so excited to share my first card for COPICOZ with you!

CopicOz has been created specifically for papercrafters with a view to provide hints, tips and tutorials using primarily Copic products. This is an official blog of Copic Australia, and as I am on the Copic Design Team, I will be posting on their blog as well as on this one!

So here is my card to say "HELLO!"...

For this card I have used the gorgeous Flutter Bear Image on X-Press It Blending Card... which I love!!!! I love using my Copics to colour and blend! For the beautiful Bear I used E31, E33, E35 and E37 and for his gorgeous wings I used BG000, BG10, R20& R22. I have also added a whole lots of Spica pens!

I add Spica to everything, and am so so excited that there is a whole new range of colours to add to the existing colour range. In this card I have used Buttermilk, Chocolate, Peach, and ofcourse my clear!

It is very hard to see in the photos, so below I have included a close up of the bear, which I have lightened considerably using Photoshop, just so you can see the shimmer of the Spica Pens! If you haven't already got a collection of these Spica Pens....RUSH....as quickly as you can.....and buy the existing colours as well as the beautiful new colour range!!! After all you can NEVER have enough glitter....right!!???!!

If you are Melbourne based and interested in doing Copic Workshops with me, I am running one this coming Saturday at Heaven Scent in Croydon! It is a 4 hour session and includes making a card as well as Copic Techniques! Call (03) 9723-2270 to book your spot in the class! HURRY PLACES ARE LIMITED!!!!!!

Happy Colouring.....Mandi

I'm Officially Certified!

OK, I have resurfaced from my self induced Copic hibernation and rejoined the land of the living!

... And look what I brought back with me....

I am so excited to say I am officially certified as not only a Copic Designer but a Copic Regional Instructor. I am joined by two gorgeous ladies Debra James (middle left) and Cathy Jones (center). Together we make up the Australian Copic Regional Instructors.

Thanks to Jacqui and Jonny from X-Press Graph-X for making this all possible!

I have had the most exciting three days full of Copic with Marianne Walker and Lori Craig (see below) and now my mind is swimming with creativity!

Thank you to all these wonderful people for your time, your knowledge, your wisdom and your creativity... but most of all thank you so much for your warmth, your loving kindness and for welcoming me so warmly into the Copic family!

Please check back for all Brisbane Certification Information (which I will be running)....

In the meantime...please come and visit me this weekend at Picture to Page Scrapbook and Papercraft Show at the Whitehorse Club, Burwood Hwy, Burwood.

I will be there all weekend!
Come and do a "make and take" with me. You can find me on the Heaven Scent Stand!!!

Looking forward to seeing you on the weekend!

Some Very Special New Friends!

I am back in Melbourne today, after spending the last two days at SIA (Scrapbooking Industry Australia) in Sydney. We had such a fun two days, and it was an absolute pleasure getting to know so many beautiful and very talented people!

Thank you so much to the people who sat in on my Copic class. I had a lot of fun teaching you, and your blending techniques will just go from strength to strength. I look forward to seeing all the beautiful masterpieces you create after being inspired by the class!

I was so lucky to be able to meet and spend most of the day with two very special new friends that we have visiting from America! I think these ladies are the two most talented people I have ever met, Marianne and Lori! For those of you doing certification in Sydney......WOW .... you are going to have an absolute blast with these two incredible women!

Thank you to the X-Press Graph-X team, Marianne and Lori for the most brilliant couple of days! I am so looking forward to spending more time together this weekend in Melbourne!
