I am so honoured!!!!!

Through out 2011, I had the great privileged of meeting a super talented lady who came to do two Copic Certifications with me.  Her name is Kate.... or if you follow her blog you may know her as Sparkle Tart by Kate Palmer.  

Kate is in the process of walking us through her 10 most artistically inspiring people of 2011......and guess who made her list ..... in number 2 position.... ME!!!!!!!!

I was so honoured when Kate contacted me to let me know I made it onto her list and to ask my permission to be included on her blog.

An exciting 2012!

2012 is already proving to be a very exciting year!  

I am already busy meeting magazine deadlines and planning many more fabulously Copic things for you!  

The first being an online Copic class!

I'm Back

Hi All,

I just wanted to let you know I haven't fallen off the planet, but I have been away enjoying the Australian summer.  

I am back for a couple of weeks, before I jetset again.  

I will post again tomorrow with something 'copicly' beautiful.

Party Time

 
 My youngest daughter just turned three!

We love having parties in our house, and a third birthday was the perfect excuse to throw a party!

I absolutely LOVE Kaiser crafts Flutterby set, and used it as the inspiration for the party invitations and decorations. 

Here are some pictures that my sister took of the table.


We had red and pink butterflies everywhere!  I used the paper set to make the cupcake holders, cones for the caramel popcorn, flags for the cupcakes, and the beautiful centerpiece that was made from a huge butterfly!
 
The whole room looked amazing with these huge pom poms that we had made and hung all over the ceiling!

My children and I had so much fun decorating together for this special celebration in our house!
 
We can't wait for the next one!

An Angel for Katie

As most of you would already know, the papercraft world lost Katie Renz this week.  

This sad little angel was something that I was working on with Katie in mind!


I have hand drawn this angel using my Copic Multiliners...

 and coloured her using only Copic markers, Opaque White and Spica pens!

I created the babckground using my Copic Reinkers (V02 and B00).  I then airbrushed some punchinella using RV06.  I also airbrushed C-3 around the angel to give her a little bit of definition.

A creation in memory of Katie Renz, created with ONLY Copic products!
